Authorisation
As you can appreciate we do need your written authorisation to remove your unwanted vehicle........ just because you have a dispute with your neighbour doesn't mean you can ring us up and have their car removed !
We offer three alternatives with regard to authorising Empire Recovery to collect your vehicle :
1) You can simply print off the form, sign it, and give it to the driver when we collect the vehicle
2) Our drivers carry the necessary authorisation forms which he will complete for you to sign when the vehicle is collected
3) We can collect the vehicle without you being at the agreed location, but we do however require the keys and the log book. We will then inform DVLA on your behalf. If you happen to have misplaced the log book we are still able to collect the vehicle and duly advise DVLA.
The rest of the disposal process is quite straightforward :
Step 1
- Print off and complete the End of Life Vehicle Surrender Authorisation form
- Sign Authorisation Form when your vehicle is collected or see above
Step 2
- Arrange a mutually convenient time for your vehicle to be collected
- Agree to one of the methods of authorisation
Step 3
- Your unwanted vehicle will be removed
